Carmelite Carefree Village provides a wide array of activities for all interest levels, from the private individual who prefers to stay in the background to the "social butterfly". The goal of any and all activity is to enhance the lives of the residents individually, socially, physically, and/or spiritually or to provide a level of mental, physical, or emotional stimulation. Among the activities we provide are:
- Regularly scheduled religious services for people of all denominations.
- Weekly excursions for such purposes as shopping, visits to museums, attendance at local festivals, etc.
- Parties, especially Birthday Parties
- Educational seminars
- Current Events Reviews
- Library day
- Annual hearing & dental health screenings
- Movie matinees complete with popcorn, candy, and audience participation
- Concerts and entertainment programs by outside guests
- Game and card tournaments
- Walker check-ups
- Exercise classes
- Arts & craft programs
- Bingo with money prizes
- Sing-alongs
- Inter - generational programs with local school students
- "Pet-a-pet" therapy sessions, supervised by the local Humane Society
